2005 Citroen C2 coolant fluid warning light keeps coming on

Although i have had a new censor ,temperature gauge and radiator fitted the coolant fluid warning light keeps coming on

Not sure about the C2 1.4 engine but if the same as the C3 1.4 there are two sensors . If same , possibly wrong sensor replaced ?

just heard it could be a blown gasket is this possible

If coolant loss , water in oil or excessive white smoke from exhaust , cooling system pressurising etc. , may well be . To verify or not if no obvious symptoms , carrying out a block test will confirm one way or the other .
