Lights

My lights randomly will come on or go off whilst driving. Often this occurs whilst indicating. I often turn them on and off again to try and fix and this has worked to almost reset them. Tonight whilst driving my service light flashed on with the message dipped beam faulty. My lights were still on at this point and didn't got off. This message disappeared and then reappeared during my journey.
Can anyone offer any advice to fix?
