2002 Citroen Berlingo steering

When pulling into car park this morning my steering became really stiff. was able to manoeuvre into a car parking space. no warning lights are on, and car starts no problem. Tyres all normal. Any ideas? thanks

Could check the universal joint on steering column which often seize up Soaking with WD 40 and working back and forth MAY free off if thats the fault and not too badly worn .But if not that more serious and expensive repair may be needed ,

Have a look at the power steering fluid in the reservoir,
IT should be a nice cherry red,

Hi its 2014 belingo van it pulls to the left most of the time, the steering wheel is constantly notchy at all speeds you have to fight it to drive in a straight line. checked pressures although one tyre is low on tread!
