2001 Citroen Berlingo dead rev counter

I was told when i bought the van a month ago the rev counter was not working could it be a simple fix like a fuse or could it be sensor on the gearbox,

You list a Citroen Xsara as your car but are posting and asking about repairs to Citroen Berlingo and now a Ford Fiesta .You " wheeling and dealing " in cars or what ?

I have responded to your question about me being a wheelie dealer AS I AM NOT but you have not to RESPONDED to (my vehicle problems as yet)!!!!!

To let you understand , I do this voluntary and am not employed by Auto Insider , therefore I am not always on .On some models the pickup for the rev counter was from the flywheel and fitted on the top of the bell housing . You could try cleaning same and check wiring / connection also .

No fuse fix for that,
get it connected to good diagnostics and check the rpm in live data,
if it shows rpm then the rev counter itself is shot,
if there's still no rpm signal in live data then the sensor/wiring is faulty.
