2001 Citroen Berlingo wipers only working on fast

hi when i put my wipers on they dont work but work when put on fast does anybody have any ideas what this problem could be many thanks

Check and clean the main wiring plug on the wiper motor. If ok then it maybe the wiper stalk at fault on the steering column...
