Chevrolet Captiva tailgate lock

Tailgate wouldn't open on key fobs or with key glass window opens  no problem how do i manually

Check liftgate relay -  R13	 	Liftgate relay
If not that you need to pull trim off from inside , open by hand and check lock / linkage for fault
