Engine coolant

2001 Alfa Romeo 156 saloon
Car: Alfa Romeo 156
Year: 2001
Variant: saloon
Categories: Engine & Drivetrain
Hi every1,
A bit of a stupid question but here goes. I've just purchased an Alfa Romeo and the engine coolants nearly ran out. I've struggled to purchase the recomended engine coolant in log book. Therefore, I bought a bottle from Halfords own brand which is recomended from halfords. Can I mix engine coolant fluid with the one purchased and the little bit of liquid left in car engine coolant compartment. If not how do I drain whats left in engine?
Thanks for any intake

mixing coolents will be fine, however if it is not pre mixed then ensure you dilute with water or it will crystalise in the water jacket.
