2000 Alfa Romeo 156 156 TS Saloon Slightly Fluctuation with Temprature Gage.

Problem added: Nov 5, 2010 (9 years ago)
I've recently purchased an Alfo Romeo. And after driving for an hour or so the temprature gage fluctuates slightly around the halfway mark. Although, this only happens when stuck in traffic i.e traffic lights etc. When the car sets off again the temprature gage goes down. to just below halfway mark. Is this a warning that there's a problem which will occur later on (in a month or so) or is this just a natural occurance with the Alfa Romeo model.
Yours sincerely,
