Fiat Multipla

I have owned a multipla JTD since 2003 from new. I am impressde by its simple construction and sheer practicality.The car has now done 85,000 miles. The problems I have had ahve mainly been as a result of dropping the front nearside wheel down a loose manhole cover. Things were failing and leakink for 3years. Now it has settled down and is fine. For 6 years it has taken us to the sth of France to work each summer with roof box and or bikes mounted on the back.Long distances are no problem and fuel consumption is about 44mpg solo and 27 with caravan on. So the only thing I will say, is keep away from Fiat dealers. Find a good small sensible repair and all should be good. Stuart nuttall
