Recall affects Land Rover RANGE ROVER
Reason for recall: The Emergency Locking Retractor in the front passenger safety belt assembly may not function correctly. The Emergency Locking Retractors are equipped with a vehicle-sensitive locking mechanism and a webbing-sensitive locking mechanism. The vehicle-sensitive locking mechanism may not lock as designed. In the event of a pre-crash brake event where the passenger airbag deploys front passenger seat forward facing child seat occupants may sustain more severe injuries.
