Reason for recall: Although highly unlikely it is possible that the wiring harness for the 12V auxiliary battery could as a result of incorrect routing chaff on the carbon fibre armature of the vehicle. If this condition exists and is not addressed it could in time result in a short circuit and electrical arching which could cause a fire. The high voltage main battery pack and associated wiring is not affected in any way and the issue poses no threat to the electrical system that powers the vehicle.
