Overheating/ fan wont kick in when hot

1.6td had cylinder-head replaced, as vehicle was overheating, but still having problem,changed expansion tank cap,when got to running temp, listen for fan to kick in, never did please help,

Have you replaced the thermostat? Or checked the radiator flow, could be blocked?
