Intermitten metal on metal sound front/ rear drivers side

Intermitten knocking sound metal on metal from front drivers side..go over a bump / hole in the road i occassionally get a metal on metal " clinking" sound..
Sounds like a bag of tools clinking together though not always..

Could be pads rattling in calliper .A good clean out and Copperslip might cure .See if it rattles when brake lightly pressed when it normally rattles . Could check susp arms , bushes , bearings etc .also .

as above also check for broken spring or anti-roll bar d bushes or link ends
