Can I send you a video from a mechanic who has performed a diagnostic on my car? I simply don’t understand why there’s a need to drop fuel tank..
On Friday my car lost power; true the engine management light comes on - intermittently for couple years and so had another EGR fitted back then but not an original part..
Now the garage is talking about it being a potential fuel pump issue.
My car was towed by the RAC to an approved (expensive garage) that only deals in OE.. £90/hr labor!
If you need more info plse advise.

First thing I would do is change the fuel filter , if external on that year / model
