2002 Volkswagen Sharan car wont start :- car turns on for a couple second then shuts down ??

Tried to start in morning, The car started for a second or two and then shut down. Attemped this a few times with clutch down and a bit of gas, it revs for a second then shut down. No sure if it to do with immoblizer.

yep sounds like its immobilized check for codes, control unit blocked fault code means yes cant remember the code number, if you havent run the two pipes going to the pump into a can of clean diesel if it runs ok its your fuel supply or the valve on top of your fuel filter

does it have an led flashing on the drivers door panel if yes then immobilser try another key

When stating it, it will start and go off, after a while it refused to start again. And before when u remove the battery and place it back the all the dashboard meters will go clock wise and returned back to anti clock wise, but is not, the fuel gauge and temperature gauge is on half even as the battery is removed. Please I need a solution.
