2003 Volkswagen Sharan engine not fireing

i have been having problems with starting my vw sharan tdi 03 plate. it is currently turning over but not fireing. i used to solve this problem by disconnecting my battery for about 10 minutes, reconnecting it , and this would solve it. but i have been trying to do this but it is still not fireing. any ideas

hi try connections to battery could be something simple like a loose connection. also check fuses

Could be the engine coolant sensor ?

try checking all your earth connections are clean and secure,make sure battery is fully charged and terminals are secure
