2011 Volkswagen Sharan headlamps flashing off.

Headlamps flash off and on again whilst driving....intermittently. Garage checked electronics and sensor stability...no problems found. Help appreciated, this is obviously a serious danger involving other road users [misinterpreting the flashes as signals to them]. Thanks in anticipation, Ian Colley].

Have you tried disconnecting the stalks or light switch to see if they stop flashing?
If a garage with diagnostics can't find something I'd say its a trip to a good auto electrician..
