No heat plus oily smell from vent

Hi guys I have a 2000 sharan carat I have just bought it About two weeks ago it has had a load off work done to (timing belt -thermostat -water pump - full service - heater matrix ) and for the love off money can wee get the heater in the cab to work only blows cold air and if you put the heater on full you get a oily smell from the vent ?
There was a small sweat of oil from the turbo but that has being fixed and engine washed many thanks David
Mileage is (17500 )

Maybe the heater flap for hot/cold air has become disconnected or not opening properly,oil smell generally is caused by a leak or breather hose split .

More problems It has started to over heat now and have being told it's the head gasket or a crack in the block so its going to be a long week that km for your help
