my sharan keeps intermitently going into a limp mode with a loss of power
it seems to do it more when the coolent system water level is low
no lights come up on the dash
and no fault codes come up either
but if it goes into limp mode and i turn the car off then restart it the car drives fine with lots of power
please help

sorry not sure about the sharan but have a transit that goes into limp mode if the water is low it does is so that you cant do any damadge to the engine etc keep an eye on the water etc check for leeks etc and possibley find and replace water level sensor

On vw Audi vehicles the engine control module will put it into limp home mode if the coolant sensors tell it the water level is low to protect the engine.
