1994 Volkswagen Polo vw polo doesn't start when wet weather

Car: Volkswagen Polo
Year: 1994
Variant: 1994 1 liter
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hello,
My 1994 VW Polo starts OK when the weather is dry, but not at all when the weather is wet.
The engine cranks. There is no spark at the high voltage coil output. Therefore I guess the problem is somewhere between the Hall distributor sensor and the coil, or on an other sensor affected by humidity. I can get a spark from the coil high voltage when connecting the distributor Hall sensor plug minus to the car body, and therefore I believe that the coil is OK.
As the car starts OK when dry, I guess that the Hall sensor and distributor are OK and other parts are OK, but somewhere humidity is playing tricks.
Any other sensor or wiring that could be affected by humidity that I can check ?
Thanks in advance for your help.
