1993 Volkswagen Polo loss of power

Car: Volkswagen Polo
Year: 1993
Variant: 1.3 CL Coupe
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
My 93' Polo seems to have lost power/acceleration since gettin it 3 months ago.

I posted another problem on here (which I havent tried yet) where the car cuts out sometimes at lights etc, it was suggested to me to clean the throttle body out, could this be part of the loss of power.

Also suggested I get the injectors sonic cleaned and/or tuned?

I'm not expecting a super fast car, but it does seem sluggish and i'd like to prevent further problems or cost.

Cheers for help

You should take advice given previously on other post . Engine loss of power could be many causes ,some simple others bigger . First and easiest would be to check plugs , leads ,etc. Dont know if that year had a distributor or not . If so check cap and rotor arm . If not check coil pack .Would do that before getting involved with injectors .
