1993 Volkswagen Polo throttle body

Variant: 1.3 CL Coupe
Can anyone give directions on how to clean the throttle body for a 93' VW Polo 1.3 please?

you need to unbolt the throttle housing from the intake manifold disconnecting any wires and pipes and give the throttle housing a good clean with either brake cleaner or carb cleaner,allow to dry,renew gasket/seal and refit

Just thought i'd mention that every one was telling me it was my throttle body but it turned out that the immobiliser needed resetting as was stalling at junctions, roundabouts etc!
