it sounds louder then normal and eats alot of petrol it is a standard i got it checked for a hole and no hole what can it be ? i get 25 Per gallon UK pounds i should be getting 40 whats wrong?
also i can smell something from the exhgast its not rotten eggs or anything its like half burnt petrol i think doesnt smell like petrol

sound like the cataltic convertor they tend to give off foul smell when faulty. if not that then your rear box is faulty baffles inside box gone causing poor performance and excessive fuel consumption
