2002 Volkswagen Polo ignition/immobiliser key problem

hey i got the car not long ago the key worked fine i belive its a second key not sure was just given the key when brought tried it again few days later a light came on with key inside it how do i get past this many help pls....

Dont know if that year has a battery inside key fob or is just a key , but could change battery
