1999 Volkswagen Polo sudden loud banging noise coming from front passenger wheel

Sudden loud banging started coming from front passenger wheel.
Checked outside of car but tyres were ok.
Has just been driving over speed humps.
Could this be the suspension or wheel bearings?

could be as you said either wheel bearing suspension component or even the cv joint
