hiya
Wondered if someone could help. I have a VW POLO Auto 1.4.
It makes a ticking noise which gets louder when you are driving along. No ticking when in neutral and accelerating.
its a bit strange. is there a common problem on these and is it auto gearbox related?
engine management light is on but I dont know how accurate the information will be.

So when auto box is under load driving ,that,s when you hear the noise,I guess you have to find out if it,s actually the box or something on the drive train,could start by ensuring fluid level is good.
