Best wa y is to check for power at the starter, small wire onto the solenoid with a multimeter or test light when some one is cranking the car over ,this will confirm your switch is sending power to the starter, other thing to consider is the earth to the unit on the end of the gearbox to chassis ,is it okay?To confirm it is you can run a jump lead from battery negative straight onto the engine .

did you get all the other problems sorted out on your car as suggested check feeds to starter motor but to be honest not sure if you mean starter not operating or engine not starting could do with more information
