Tapping noise

i replaced ther timeing belt followed the the timeing marks someone had three mars on it so lined up with these marks now there is a tapping noise not all thge time is the timeing wrong

It could be the timing that`s out, but at best the car would be lumpy on tick over/loss of power etc. depending how far out the timing is.
Was there a tapping noise before you replaced the cambelt?
If your sure the timing is correct, try an oil and filter change ensuring good quality oil is used and the correct grade.

If you have set the timing over advanced it wil be pre igniting " pinking it's head off .

I would re-check your timing,slough an easy belt to replace if your a tooth out it will not run worth a hoot.
