1998 Volkswagen Polo central locking leak?

My central looking has been malfunctionug for years. Basically it seems that there is a leak somewhere and no mechanic managed to locate this. I need to disable the central locking system since it spends about 1 min pumping air into God knows where and all the locks jam. Since I cannot find any literature about the polo classic, can somebody tell me how o disable the central locking. I shall be more than happy to have to open the doors manually from the inside.

If its vaccum locking disconnect the pump,or fuse if nothing else on that circuit.
