Volkswagen Passat faulty doors
Variant: 1.9 tdci
Model Year: 2007
over the last year,all the doors,at some point,i have not been able to open,not all at the same time. the last door know passenger,behind driver,can not be opened from the outside,or the inside,i think the child lock has been put on,so probably means i cant open it from the inside,but still the handle doesnt work on the outside,this is the fourth time this has happened,on different doors

Need to get door trim off and see where fault on linkage / lock is .

door will not open from outside
tprise of outer bezel from door handel,obtain rubber mallet and strike the alloy part a number of times untill the outer handel opens the door. this problem is the result of a sticky mechanism and the vibration usually releases it.
