My 2005 VW Passat TDi was getting very thirsty. I had to top up my coolant fairly frequently in June and thought this strange as had only done 60K.
In April my brother in law -who has the same age PassatTDi - suddenly had a warning light-resulting in him having to get a new radiator.
Guess what? 2 months after he had to get one I took it in and ... yes, it needed a new radiator!
In-built obsolesence or what? Anyone else have a similar experience
