2002 Volkswagen Passat noise during accelration
Year: 2002
Variant: 1.9TDI 130
Not sure if this is a real problem or not, certainly the car is going fine. However when i accelorate i seem to hear this throaty noise almost the same as pinkin, but obviously given it is a diesel it cannot be that...can it??

check the air filter lid is fitted correctly and that all air intake pipes are secure
