2004 Volkswagen Passat alarm constantly going

our car alarm keeps going off.
we took it to a garage last year and they said they would desensitize it.
over the whole winter afterwards it was fine, suddenly it has started again, going off alot.
we have used the internal alarm deactivator button on the drivers side but no joy.
please help!

Have you opened any air vents on the dash now we are in summer ;)
Make sure there all closed when you lock it worth a try

Have just tried shutting all air vents, but sadly the alarm has gone off 5 mins later. Any other suggestions welcome as we have soooo many neighbours that must hate us right now :(

Check if there is water in the passenger footwell.If so remove the side trim below the glove box and check wiring and connectors for dampness .
