2000 Volkswagen Golf no heater jerky after an hr the heater smells hot and then there a funny noise like sum thing on the wheel please help

had a new clutch fitted and after a week the car started driving jerky in all gears used, also heaters stopped working. replaced the thermostat sensor and the spark plugs as well tested all the sensors there fine. after an hour of driving theres a slight click in the blowers and then i get a smell of burning and the heaters start working but then when i put my foot down on the throttle i get a squeaking noise like sumthing on the wheel and when i take my foot of it goes.got home left it in first gear as the hand break needs slight fixing and its stuck in first gear i dont no what it could all be can some1 help please

ur heater motor is on the way out it needs changed.just had to do one...try changig the gear box oil if not the box needs checkig
