2001 Volkswagen Golf exhaust emission light

this came on while driving at the same time as the oil light, which went off again. The oil level was fine.

two days later the exhaust emission light went off. is this something to worry about?

hi there,golfs can be prone to oil pumps failing,oil level will be fine but not getting pumped through engine.if it goes u could end up having serious engine repairs or even total replacement.
