Loss of power and varying idle speed

while driving, on the motorway, the car lost power for a few seconds and then carried on as normal. This happened twice in the journey.
The next day the car cut out telling me there was something wrong with the oil, cant remember whether it was the pressure or the level. Oil level however was fine and the light went off. the exhaust emission light also came on and stayed on.
Any ideas?

only way of knowing is to get diagnostic check.before u do this u could check the vacume pipes are all connected and not cracked or leaking.hope this help,s.
