the oil warning light flickers only on tick over,when driving there is no problem,i check my oil regulary and thats fine,i have had my breather pipes cleaned,but they seem to be clogged up again with a mayonaise effect.i know its not the headgasket as i have had that done recently.

Could be something simple like oil pressure switch.If not you would have to check oil pressure with master guage .

i had the same problem with one i had, if itted an after market oil filter ( think it was motorquip) it didn't have a oil pressure releif spring in the end of it, unlike the fram or genuine filters. i changed mine for a gen. one, and problem solved.(and it was cheaper than the after market one, lol.)
