Egr valve location

I want to locate the Egr so I can try to clean it as it won't start and the RAC did a diagnostics and the faults may be tied to the Egr. I've look at other cars online but my car doesn't seem to have the Egr in the same place?

engine size and preferably the three letters from the VIN which will identify the exact engine,
Something like say AJP.
