2006 Volkswagen Caddy front indicator not working- but bulb ok?

The bulb fail indicator came on yesterday and the front offside indicator bumb is not working. I've removed the bulb in it's holder and tested the assembly, but it works fine? Put it back it the van and still no joy. Help- am I missing something?

Checked to see if power getting to lamp / holder ?
