clutch pedal requires repair or replacing

It,s really easy ,if you first push the pedal down this will allow you to remove the spring ,take note of how this sits as you will have to refitt it.you then disconnect the rod for your the clutch master cylinder and then remove the bolt that holds the pedal.Just to ask why your replacing it as there's a common concern with these vehicles as the clutch release bearing set up is prone to wear as it,s worked through a long rod that runs the length of the box,but usually the lever and bearing it operates wears.

the box that the master cylinder push rod fits in to has pushed out the back i have removed the clip on the pedal shaft but the pedal hits the master cylinder and will not come off the shaft

There was problems with the pedal carrier / bulkhead cracking on that car .If thats your fault maybe twisted and blocking removal .

This maybe as a consequence of gear box fault that I mentioned previously as my sister owned same make of van and I had to do the gearbox repair and a new pedal and master cylinder to her vehicle.
