1994 Vauxhall Tigra car judders, seems to lose a bit of power

Car: Vauxhall Tigra
Year: 1994
Variant: 1.4
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
My car has been fine until recently, when i'm driving the car beings to judder. It seems to do it quite little on the motorway but when i'm driving around normal roads it judders quite bad. I have had spark plugs changed and its still the same. Just filled my tank up and put some Red X in there aswell to see if that will help. Any ideas? cheers, Andy

egr valve needs replacing on the car this is very common problem on the vauxhalls that would help regarding the juddering have you checked that the coil pack hasnt started to break down or leads on the car try these next before you go on to the egr valve

No i aint tried those. I have been reading about a mass air flow sensor and the problems it causes if its not working right, and i was thinking it could be that. also a lambda sensor aswell. But i really don't know what to do, because i don't want to spend silly money on something for it not to be the cure to the problem.

Another thing is that i don't have any emergency lights on the dash if that helps diagnose the problem at all
