my heater works for 5 mins then blows cold. There is a lot of pressure in the header tank when i release the cap and lose water. I top it up and heater works for 5mins and the heater blows cold again. `the temp guage rises and then the fan cuts in.there is no water in the oil but moisture around the oil filler cap.`the engine temp guage is low when the heater blows hot and normal when driving but no heat.TYhe bottom of the radiator is tepid and the pipe back from the header tank to the top h0se/thermostat housing is cold. I have had the car two onths and it was stood for a time on a forecourt

Sounds like it could be head gasket gone , pressurising cooling system and causing airlocks .A sniff test ( block test ) will let you know for certain if that is the fault .
