Vauxhall Tigra window wipers

The window wipers do not always stop, this only seems to happen when driving along as when stationary, they work fine. I have tried new relays and a new switch. I dont think it is the motor, as they do turn off eventually.

Any suggestions what it could be and how to fix it??
