High pitched tone and roof failure

2007 Vauxhall Tigra 1.4
Car: Vauxhall Tigra
Year: 2007
Variant: 1.4
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
I get a fairly continuous high pitch tone with the ignition on or off and the roof wont retract. Started suddenly yesterday . I noticed it when I parked up - but not before.

Thanks for the vid. I'll check the boot barrier switches just to be sure but - update - the roof now works anyway ! But the high pitched tone remains.
Its off to the garage this morning to be checked out. My guess is an intermittent fault of the sensors. Still one way to drown out the sound is to turn the stereo up to maximum!
