Help please, Just got a Tigta twin top & the luggage compartment partition has a sliding lock each side, but on the top it has a catch connected to a cable, this has broken, what is it for, & is it because of this the roof wont open, Thanks

The car need to know whether the devider is in place or not. No cable connection means no circuit connection means no roof opening. Hope that helps. Cable need reestablishiing. ????
