2006 Vauxhall Tigra twintop roof not working

i have a problem with the roof on our tigra i have had a look and tried the roof myself , and i have noticed the following 1) windows move up and down when the doors open and close 2) The boot will only open when i press the button at the rear of the car and will only shut if i hold my finger on the button the the lights flash to show its closed 3) I dont get no beeping noises when trying to operate the roof 4) Cant here any motors trying to work Is there anything else i can check before i take it to a dealership Thanks in advance for any advice given Ian
