so sorry,im new too this and dont know how to edit the posts ive put up,ive mistakingly put astra in the last post when it should be tigra

It is a pressurised cooling system so if you remove cap when hot it will tend to fill up .Try bleeding cooling system. Check to see if coolant fan cuts in .If still suspect head gasket , carry out a block test .If losing water and cant see where from , get a pressure test of cooling system .Could also test thermostat is not sticking .
