Year: 1999

Footwell Behind passenger seat and footwell in drivers side sipping wet only noticed this year, causing really bad condensation. Although I know this seems to be common problem but how can I fix it, considering new car if too expensive so please be truthfull :-)

Most common leaks in the rear lead to leaking rear lights. Or leaking rear bumper. Unusual it would be the rear door seals but just have a good loom for water tracks, like streaks

Here we go again . plz keep this on topic. Grow up? Rear bumpers can let water into the car when driving. If damaged or missing wire grommets or ventrs. Even seat belt securing bolts. Want to lol about this.

Hi Sharon; I too had water leakage into the driver-side footwell on my Tigra mk1, 1400cc; it turned out to be that the water was getting at the bottom of the rubber door-seal; I removed the rubber seal & found that some-body had applied a strip of sealant [previous owner?] which actually was directing the rain-water into the foot-well via the top of the metal seam at the door bottom; removing the sealant solved the prob.
