ABS and Traction control lights come on and Speedo fails

2000 Vauxhall T 3.0 Elite
Car: Vauxhall T
Year: 2000
Variant: 3.0 Elite
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Seems to be mainly when car is warmed up. However all of a sudden the lights will go out and the Speedo starts working only to fail again some time later. Now and then it fails from the time the car is started then will rectify its self later.
Took the car to the garage approx. 7 miles this morning for a MOT.
Car was fine until the Garage owner got in the car to take it to the MOT centre then the problem showed its self again.
They have tried swopping the ABS Sensers over on the rear wheels with no luck.

Might be time to change your garage if they are going to change things rather than scan with Tech 2 or equivalent to see what the actual fault is .That car also suffers from instrument cluster faults .

Or possibly the speed sensor itself.
Usually taken from a pickup in the differential.

Or ABS control unit , the possibilities are endless

Agreed,
So a tech that can actually use diagnostics and interpret the results would be needed.
