Hi.
The piece of metal that controls the swirl flaps on the inlet has broken at 1 end.
I have been told you can only buy the complete inlet manifold.
Is this true or is there a part number for this long piece of metal that controls all 4 flaps?

yes its true you can only buy the complete manifold. this is a very common fault, i am not sure regarding the part number but vaux will be able to help with this you could try the vx owners club web site they have some great advice on there regarding this problem a lot of people advize bonding the flaps open permanantley but personaly i have not tried this
